Description:
- VHT Flameproof coating consists of highly modified silicone resin, blended with inorganic pigments and extenders. Certain colored coatings can withstand up to 1500¡F continuous duty. Once fully cured, this coating will remain impervious to most acids, chemical solvents, radiation and salt spray. VHT coatings offer excellent thermal emissivity and dielectric strength. Hardness of VHT Flameproof coating varies inversely with temperature because of its thermoplastic nature. Therefore it is not recommended to use VHT on Òtraffic surfacesÓ.
